BuildBIM was engaged as a subcontractor to deliver detailed modelling of the exterior hard roof system for Te Kaha Stadium in Christchurch.

Our role focused on ensuring buildability by analysing the complex steel roof geometry, developing a placeholder mass, and accurately laying out curved roof panels to achieve correct pitch and tolerances. From this, we produced detailed shop drawings for the roofing subcontractor, along with coordinated modelling of gutters and flashings.

The model also incorporated structured asset data to support handover to Christchurch City Council, enabling effective long-term asset management.
