BuildBIM was engaged by Naylor Love to develop a 4D construction sequencing video for the University of Auckland’s new Performance Building B230, a 13-storey multi-use development at the University’s City Campus.


The project includes a major performing arts venue, Faculty of Law facilities, teaching and learning spaces, postgraduate areas, and academic offices. Working within a busy university environment presented significant logistical and pedestrian management challenges, which were incorporated into the proposed construction methodology.


BuildBIM developed the 4D sequence to provide a clear visual representation of Naylor Love’s construction methodology and approach to safely managing the complex site. The sequence formed a key part of Naylor Love’s successful tender submission, supporting their successful appointment to deliver the project.
